McGuire + Co. Kitchen & Bath
I designed and developed a new website for McGuire + Co. Kitchen & Bath. Their old website was slow and dark. They wanted to better communicate who they are and what they do.
The redesign has a much brighter look and is built on GeneratePress, a lean WordPress theme. Beautiful images of kitchen and bathrooms show off their work. Website visitors often come to their site from a mobile device, so a fast and mobile optimized website was important.
Adding new blog posts and updating galleries and pages is done through the regular WordPress interface. This makes it easy for the business to add content on their own.
SouthCoast Wind
SouthCoast Wind is developing an offshore wind area off the coast of Massachusetts. Their website communicates vital information about the project.
I manage the content and design of the website. The site architecture is structured to keep relevant project information together and up-to-date.
In addition to work on the website, I am working with McMahon Communications to produce social media graphics, fact sheets, infographics, a brand styleguide, Word and PowerPoint templates, email newsletter, and Google Analytics reports.

Lighthouse Wellness & Health Education Consulting
A simple, clean design with bright colors shows their energy and expertise. Their many consulting offerings are grouped logically and complete with case studies and testimonials.
This well coded website loads extremely fast and adheres to accessibility best practices.
WIRES
A collaborative process with Heather Robb Communications resulted in an informative and beautiful new website. WIRES is a hub of information about the transmission industry.
The navigation groups related content and the home page showcases the latest reports, filings, and news. Custom post types and fields make it very easy to add new content.

Preserve Services
Preserve Services requested a new professional look and customer focus for their home improvement website and a B2B focused for the building industry franchise website. WordPress multisite was a good solution to manage two websites with different content.
I designed the websites based on their logo and print materials. I worked on site maps, site architecture, page mockups, development, and launch phases. The websites were connected to Google Search Console for ongoing SEO.

D&M Civil
D&M Civil requested a new website for their site, civil, and utility construction business. New videos and drone photography show off their work. A key goal for the website is hiring employees. A call to action for job seekers is at the top of the home page. Mobile friendly forms to submit a job application are quick and easy to use.

Nara Logics
I designed and developed the Nara Logics website. The design uses their brand colors and artwork that alludes to neural networks. The website focuses on communicating what they do, why they are different, and promotes their white papers.
A custom infographic I designed for the AI Trinity: Eggs, Chicken and Bacon helps to explain the human touch needed in AI.

Samel Insurance
A friendly and lighthearted design that makes the content heavy website easy to use. Insurance Agency websites require a lot of content for customers and visitors looking for insurance. They need to show information about their company, the types of insurance they sell, and claim information. Online forms help clients get free insurance quotes and take care of other insurance business. All this needs to work on phones and tablets, as well as desktops.

Grid Assurance
A public relations and marketing plan was developed for Grid Assurance, which included a website and social media strategy. I designed and developed the website with the goal of growing Grid Assurance’s subscriber base. The website communicates the problem: a vulnerable electric transmission system, and the solution: a proactive, industry-led recovery solution.
A visual representation of the solution and comparison table are designs that help to communicate detailed information.

TRB ACRP Web Resource
I provided website design and information architecture for the TRB ACRP Air Service Development and Regional Economic Activity Study. The findings of the report are presented on the website, including case studies. The navigation simplifies the vast information into three tabs and an explanatory getting started page.
A challenge was to design the website using very few plugins and the default WordPress theme. The result is a fast, secure website that prioritizes content, navigation, and readability.
